I've got a mm 700 that I'm extending to a 159". There is a finger track for sale for $200. I've had a hard time finding other tracks in that length. I'm on a budget so the price is very enticing. I know they are meant for harder pack conditions. I'm in the mountains in Utah mostly powder. My question is if this track will cut it in the mountains. I don't need the absolute best performance but don't want to waste $200. Opinions?

159 Track

If U Relocate Your Skid For A Better Aproach Angle That 159 Finger Should Work Just Fine.
I Owned That Sled And It Trenched Badly With The Stock Skid Location.

Hope This Helps U.

Have you tried looking on snowest at all? I found a brand new camo 156 on there 2 yrs ago for $325 delivered to my door. And cheaper used ones were also to be found.

There are several 151s on KSL in the snowmobile parts section, along with a few others.

finger tracks suck especially for your dry powder in utah. if you lived in washington where you have coastal snow all year i would say pull the trigger. but you will be hating life if you run that track when its deep. save your money for a challenger.

dont get me wrong they are awsome when hero snow comes around but man. thats the last month of the season.

I had very good results with my 151X2.25'' track in powder. you will notice they fall behind a machine of the same power and same length paddle track in the powder a little tho. everyone was telling me not to get the finger first and like you i found a really good deal and couldent pass it up. it suprised the hell out of me and man its NUTS when u get to hard or stickey snow you gotta HOLD ON its gonna grip hard unlike the paddle just spinning. all the people who told me not to get it never even tryed a sled with a finger track so what do they know right.
