just picked up a bravo for the kids. how do i determine the year. the previouse owner didn't know. the first numbers of the vin are 86a. was wondering if that might make it a 86 or manufactured in 86 for 87 model year?

what a blast. i just took this thing out for like 2 hours bombing around. i can honestly say i havent had that kind of fun on a sled since i was a kid on my 69 292 snojet. theres nothing like grabbing a fist full of the 780 srx but this bravo is pure fun.
that being said its really boggy on the bottom. guessing its a carb issue but wondering how crisp these things ever were?

For a 250 single the Bravo is pretty snappy in good state of tune. The low gearing made them this way. However, they do not have the throttle response of the newer sleds though. You may want to clean the carb. You may simply need a new belt or your clutches cleaned.
