I like synthetic low temp grease - it is more consistent. I use Mobil 1.

Mystic, I think it's marine grease. Good flexability at low temps.
I use a grease from Cenex. It comes in a purple tube, can't think of the name of it right now.

marine grease works well, but ANY grease is better than none. I ended up using white grease instead of the marine grease this year because I forgot to get marine grease. oh well.

Yamaha Low temp Grease... It is a PITA 'cause in the summer the stuff melts and my grease gun leaks all over the garage floor where the grease gun is stored....

It melts for sure and also their marine stuff too. But had good luck with it in the winter. Just changed to amsoil synthetic also as my yamaha dealer just closed and the shop in town carries this. We will see how it works. Chris
