Went out to the garage today to work on my clutch setup. Needed to remove some tip weight after I removed the Bender pipe. First weight I took out the bolt was tight and trying to remove it I stripped it. :o| Took some shim stock to try to make a tight fit for the allen wrench and while tapping it in this happened. #$%&* :o| #$%&* Anyone have a 40-10 weight and bolt kickin around??

Get a hold of HC, my buddy got a free SET after his defected in a similar manner!!! He didn't even have to give proof of purchase, which was nice since he bought them used!

Hope you get another one

I'll just remeber to not tap on mine Thanks for sharing

should of used a little heat to loosen them.I know when I had HC's and loctited the bolts,I was swearing to try to remove them, actually twisted my allen wrench...

Yeah know what you mean,I put on 50 miles..can't stand riding in cloudy days, just can't see whats coming up on you..no fun at all as I can't really pin the SRX.Monday and Tuesday should be sunny..I'll be out on the Red testing my 8BU10's again..not much time left..need a good stretch of ice to test on..damn..damn snow slows me down..

yeah I know the spot, come around the corner and it is about 1 mile long stretch. My cousins house is at the end with the dyck around it.Still to much snow on it for me..last year that spot was ideal..more packed down also..that is where I hit 118 on the speeds in 08 ,was bare ice on April 7 and about 7 C..Did 7 runs in a row all with same results..had no studs and it was crazy scarey I'll tell ya..

i would be surprised if randy nouis actually sends you a new weight for free. i had a set of his weights, where the hole for the pivot bushing was drilled at a slight angle.....meaning it wasn't drilled perpendicular to the side of the weight. i called him on it and said this is a manufacturer defect, as the hole was drilled wrong/angled and now the weight swings on a angle and he said that there is nothing he could do and that he has been selling them weights for years w/no issues. he said there is nothing wrong w/my weights and that it was probably a bad bushing. Bull$hit!!! anyhow he didn't work w/me. in fact he hung up on me when i was in the middle of explaining to him the problem. i'll never buy a heel clicker product again. his customer service sucks.

there are some a-holes out there. Is still amazes me how some people stay in business with an attitude like that for customers.I would go out of my way to make sure as many people as possible know how a company operates and not take care of their customers..their money in the Bank.Eventually word gets around and they wander why they went out of business...what comes around goes around...
