I have a 94 Vmax 600 and bought a 1" track to upgrade. The track only has clips on every 3rd lug. My stock track had clips on every one. Does anyon know if this will be a concern?

No you will be fine.
l have 2 sleds clipped every third. Vmax4 750 with polaris x10 1.3/4" track with extraverts,(ported aswell) and a vmax4 800 with noaction and 1.5" track.

Both far from stock you will also save a load of weight and free up some hp. Rotating mass is weight x 4 i belive.

Depending on the snow conditions, deep snow you're fine. But with little snow or racing on the ice, I think rubber track against the hyfax provides more friction, resulting in performance losses greater than the gains made from being lightweight. If it were mine, & had all windows open, I would clip every one. But i also run anti-ratchet drivers, so the clips are necessary. I would still clip it, even w/o the drivers though.just my opinion.

Actually missing clips, or just clips without the guides?

Clips without the guide tabs I'd say your fine. But if it's rubber on hyfax I'd be putting some clips on it.

If its the clipped every third with closed windows such as what i have on my XT you would be suprised, it seems like i get better highfax wear.
The windows seems to hold the snow on the track when you can get it then when you go over low areas it doesn't all fly out as easy.
