Charlie Sheen, 47, is all over the news because he's a Celebrity drug addict. While Andrew Wilfahrt, 31, Brian Tabada, 21, Rudolph Hizon, 22, Chauncy Mays, 25, Christopher Stark, 22, David Fahey Jr, 23, Kristopher Gould, 25, Nicholas Alden, 25, are Soldiers who gave their lives this week w/ little or no media mention. Please pray for these brave guys and thier familys. My son Brandon was shot at and hit by a sniper on feb. 23. The round hit the front plate of his body armor and thanks to the armor that absorbed the round, only ended up with 2 fractured ribs. Thank God I still have my son, so please keep our troops in our thoughts.

X2. The media is so backward. Keep everybody busy thinking about celebrities & the government can do what they want with little or no attention. Well, those ideas are slowly changing, more people are looking to get our country back! Very glad to hear your son is ok, hope he makes it home to you. Bring all of them home!
Great Post!! I love the way you opened it and you are Right On So much more to be concerned or thankful for than some Hollywood CRAP.
God Speed are men in harms way and next time you see your son Tell I said THANK YOU!

Blue,
I TOTALLY AGREE with you. I say thanks to our young men and women in the armed forces whenever I see them at the airports, I travel a lot on business.
They are the true heros.
Folls like Sheen and other celebs enjoy their wealth and celeb status due to the people who put their lives on the line everyday to protect our freedom. I pay NO attention to all that celeb. crap.
I am so glad to hear you son is OK. That was a close call.

yes but...
It's a strange world we live in, people behaving badly and they become folk hero's. All those voyeurs out there really need to adjust their idea of what a real hero is.

Thank God for your sons closecall. I can't imagine what that would have been like to experience. God bless all the troops.
....stay away from the TV, and monitor what the kids watch too. You would belive the crap they are already being taught in like 1st grade. I hope its not too late!!!

It really stinks that in todays Fu@k&d up socity, one has to be a Sheen or Lohan to make headlines. So much for journalistic responsibility.
I have prayed for our loved ones to come back to us alive and in one piece since I have gotten out.
Brandon is now added to my thoughts & prayers.
God Bless

Thank You to all for your thoughts and prayers for all our men and women serving. I know this is a sled forum, just sick of all the crap on the news about very stupid stuff but than again making more money in a week than alot of people make in a lifetime has to be tough. I'm glad the TY Lounge is here to give me a place to vent.

Tell your son I said thanks.
Every vetrans day I make sure to tell every vetran i know, "Thank you" with a hand shake. It's the least we can do.
