My SRX 700, from '98 strated to act strange. There is really weak spark when I make spark plug gap very small. With recomended gap there is no spark. I replaced ignition coils but this did not helped. Magneto is checked, spark plug caps also.
When I connect only one ignition coil to the network there is weak spark with recomended spark plug gap.. When I'm able to start engine with this small spark plug's gaps somehow, then engine works fine, all other electrical equipment also..
Please help, what to do?

sounds like the stator is weak, if when you checked it the ohm check is what you did, all that will tell you is if the stator has a open wire, it cant tell you the output.
This was one of my ideas. I cleaned and checked stator visually, checked ohm's and leak to ground, but all seems to be OK. How to check is stator working properly?

Takin a stab in the dark here. I remember eading on here somethin about a relay that goes bad on srx. Dont remember what years it was affected by but I do remember if you put head light on high beam it should run fine, if that is the problem. As far as the stator out put I am not sure what volts should be but it seams to me that sled would have to be running to measure output.
