My hot grip and my thumbs doesnt heat anymore.. last ride it was eating a bit(half of what it use to) but today neigther works... where should i look? last season i replace the grip because one of them was broken and the other one wasnt working... but now nothing works ... thumbs include,,

sx viper 2002 , got power on the yellow and red wire, but nothing on the black,,, and the black dont even ground... is the black wire is sopose to be a ground?
Thr grips are controlled thru the CDI. Start the sled and rev it up past 4500 rpm ( on a stand)to get any kind of voltage out of the yellow/red wire.
I thot the black should be ground at all times. There might be your problem.

if i plug my test ligt ground to the black wire i dont get anything from the yellow and red one buf it i ground it to the bat... there is power coming out of it!
Sounds like you lost the ground on the black wire then. I would solder on a new wire and bolt it on to a good ground point like the steering hoop.
