I really like my XTX skid in the Viper. It really improves the ride and handling of the sled in the bumps, and off-trail it is night and day better. Now of course I need to mod the front end to improve it even more. It never ends LOL
I would think the RTX skid would work well, but I have never done that particular swap. The mono works very well in the Viper too.

Should go in easy, just need to add some front inner bracing. Do not screw around with the factory brace for the apex, you will need to cut it up and its not spaced correctly after so you will need to shim it befor riveting it in so not to make your tunnel puckered. Just pick up a piece of stainless at a metal shop and shim that with the same thickness aluminum in the middle and rivet it.
you will want to have the shocks revalved as they kind of suck.

Viper..
If it was yours what skid would you use?
was going to put a better shock on stock skid?
shock cost as much as skids!
