I'm looking to see if anyone has the spec sheet for what Maxx Perf used to sell in their clutch kit for a stock 95 Vmax 600? I'm looking to rework my wifes sled after all of these years.
Back in the day I bought a Maxx perf clutch kit for my 96 Vmax 600 XT and I was very pleased with the results. Not only was it clutch parts but they used to include jets in the kit as well.
I have all the info on the 96 Vmax kit if anyone out there could use it. I have run this set up with a thin head gasket and V force reeds for over 8,000 miles now with out any problems.
Frank..

I'm interested about the info on the 96 xt setup you have.Sorry I can't help with the 95,I would think it would'nt stray too much from the 96 setup.

Here is the Maxx Perf 96 600 XT clutching and jetting set up. This set up won't work for me on my wifes stock 95 since it has the small factory pipe and 96's came with a larger factory pipe which requires it to have higher engagement and shift speeds.

I am still looking for some help with the clutching and jetting set up for a stock 1995 Vmax 600. I would really like to know what Maxx Perf was using back in the day in their kits but I will take anything at this point. I called Bender and they tell me they got rid of anything before 1997 including all of their spec’s that just doesn’t sound right? I can see not stocking the old parts but to throw away all of the clutch kit specs, Really?
I checked with Hauck Perf and they still offer a clutch kit but I have been told they tend to be aggressive with their clutching, anyone have any experience with their kits?

STOCK specs below: (the last chart I believe is for the GYT pipe, although it calls for a leaner jet then without it...?)

Thanks Smokingcrater.
It is set up to these stock specs now. I'm looking to improve on it some. It has always had a bit of a flat spot right at the low cruising speed, about 1/4 throttle. Also I need to go through the primary to freshen it up after all these miles and years and thought it would be a good time to try another set up on the clutch as well.

Any update on what you went with and how its working? I need to replace my springs, so I thought I would try a peppier setup.

I didn't have any luck finding any set up info so I just went though the primary and replaced the bushings and buttons. I also dropped the needles 1/2 clip. With the lack of snow have only ridden 97 miles this season but the wife seems happy.
