98 srx shock change

i was wondering i have a chance to buy nice ohlins front shocks cheap but theyre from an sx do these fit w/ out modifications??

Yes they will bolt on but are valved differently than ohlin's for the SRX. You can tell sx shocks from srx ones because they have a plastic adjustment knob. SRX has a keyed adjustment clicker. SX is valved softer than the SRX. The SX is lighter in the front end than the SRX.

this guy was wrong they were kyb w red springs how much different are these from kybs for srx?

Probably valved a little different along with softer springs......

Unless you need these shocks because your shocks are damaged it would not benifit you to replace the stock SRX shocks with them.
