I have a 2000 mountian max 700, And I have a problem with a bogg or almost like it is running on two cylinders when I am creeping alone at a constant speed and reving around 4500 to 5000 rpm. and Idea of what this problem could be?? For after market products on the sled It has a tempaflow system, reed spacers and a can.

my 2 cents

I have a 2000 mountain max. it did the same thing. I chased the problem thought it was jetting. I bogged at 5500 every time. didn't know what to do. I changed a few things and it went away. I cranked up the secondary 20 degrees. I changed from hauk pipes to slp pipes. It went away. I do not know which of these things did it, but it went away. I do not know what was up with that. I worked on jetting forever, but it was not that. I think it may be the backpressure on the pipes. ??????? :letitsnow

Well I had just jetted and set up for revelstoke, and now Im back to my original jetting set up. I checked my needle jet washers, one on top one on bottom, with the clip in the second slot from the top. doesthis sound right?. Jetts are all the same as when it ran normal. I tried my fuel mixture screw. I had it set at 2 turns out for when i was in revelstoke, and then ran it here like that( still bogged) tried turning it back to 1.5 turn out ( still no change) Tried a new belts and old belts. The new belt dropped my revs to only 8000 rpm, when my old belt was getting 8300. I was going to start to play with my secondary because with this new belt I also had a loss in power. so I was assuming clutching played a factor in this.
