:2strokes: just got a new set of vforce3 reeds for my 01 srx they are a little different than my last set i put on my 02 the new ones came with different plastic spacers but bolts dont seem to be long enough to install.do they help or do i need these or are they extras in a one size fits all kit ? thanks guys

These need to be installed with the spacers otherwise,[if my memory serves me well], the reed cage will interfer with the case. Also watch for air leaks right in the corners where the bolts go...dry fit them and you will see how little material is actually contacting the gasket surfaces by the casting corners.

well i put them in bob without the spacers and they dont hit but do you think there is performance issue here seem to fit and seal ok but bolts really wont be gettin that much thread with the plastic spacers :o|

got the same reeds a few weeks ago for my srx same thing look differant from old ones and came with spacers with bolts that where to short i just went and got longer bolts must be they didnt double check what they packed

i got some vforce 3's, they came with a plastic spacer and i put mine on with the factory bolts. they fit fine.

ok dont want to beat a dead horse but do u guys think there are any performance gains with the spacers?
