Yes, I would agree. We had issues in the past with the advent of ethonal into our fuel systems. But, the issue was basically the clogging of filters, guming of carbs ect. The ethonal is a great cleaner of the fuel tank. Since we have been running ethonal blended fuel for several years, no issues at all. One thing we do use is Startron fuel conditioner. It works in everything with no issues. Yes, a motor that had been used a lot prior to ethanol (e10) will run into some glitches at first, but that is not really ethanol's fault, more of the fault of the old gas leaving residue that the tank and fuel system have accumulated over the years. So, you might see some issues with fuel filters getting plugged, but watch for that, and clean your carb(s) a little bit after running e10, and you'll more than likely have no problems.
So much can be attributed to hype about E10. Please don't fall for false rumors and speculation.
I have a few posts on TY about ethanol. do a search and you'll see even more.
