Hi there I'm thinking of buying a Yamaha Apex RTX 2006 120" 32mm track
I own a viper 2002 120" 38mmtrack
and well my question is is it worth it going from my viper to apex like that ?
I ride most of the time off trail and were I live we don't get that crasy powder, but we do get some nice powder to play in,
so on my viper when the snow is soft and when I'm climping I get stuck some times hheh, but I really like the short track when i'm just playing around,
and any pros and cons appreciative thx

I went from a 136 Viper to a Attak (136). I mostly trail ride and a bit of ditch banging.
I really like the power of the 4stroke and its ability to soak up the bumps over the Viper's pro-action. I do not look forward on getting stuck with the Attak as it has a few more pounds on it. If driving in powder mostly, I would not go any shorter than a 136 4stroke. I think a 144 XTX would be better. Its a 121 on the hardpack and 144 in the powder. The best things about 4 strokes are not having to add oil all the time, worry about fuel quality and jetting.

I have both, 2003 Viper and 2007 Apex. Too much info to type here, PM me and I will send you my phone number.
Short version, Apex does not feel heavy when riding, and as mine has reverse I never lift it (also have powder jack for when it does get stuck). I most certainly would NEVER have an Apex without reverse though.
