these spark plug's came from A Viper have about 1000km on them sled has 6000km

The flash from your camera isn't helping. Try some place that has good lighting and turn your flash off (bathroom counter?). From the pic they look a little light...I like to see light to medium brown.
I agree it is hard to tell from the pictures. Get a piece of brown cardboard box and hold it up to spark plug and it should be same color to slightly darker.
I think pic would be fine if he just held it a little further away from the camera.
