I'm repacking the bearings on the sled and wondering if the drive and jackshaft bearings in the chaincase need to be done, sled has 6000 miles on it. It has EStart and reverse and it looks like a big job to tear down the chaincase especially with the reverse set-up. I haven't had any issues with the bearings just doing some preventive maintenance.

Ok guess I will, anyone have experience removing reverse set-up to get at the bearings?

I'll go by the service manual, shows everything there including adjustments for assembly, as always thx for the help and will likely be asking for more before I'm done lol.Viper302 said:Ok guess I will, anyone have experience removing reverse set-up to get at the bearings?

Lay the parts out on a large piece of cardboard in the order you take them off. This will help keep track of where they go and the order in which they go back in. Keep small children and the dog out of the work space.

Just take a few pictures as you take it apart. It really is quite simple.
