Question About Fogging Using Oil Pump

When I try to fog my motor by pullling the oil pump wide open by pulling up the cable adjuster all the way up, I do not notice more smoke out of the exhaust during idle. How long does it take, with the oil pump wide open, to start noticing more smoke? Instant, 20 seconds, etc.?
 

leave her wide open for at least 10 minutes to make sure the internals get soaked..and she will start to smoke..just keep throttle open with a strap a bit so it won't stall out..
 
I tried for only about half a minute and didn't notice any increased smoke so I thought something was up with my oil pump. I assume 30 seconds is not enough time to notice a difference with the exhaust?
 
After 2 min. it should be just a smokin.You see my video after my engine rebuild and I kept the oil cable open..you couldn't almost see me thru the smoke..but to store for summer..I run mine like for 10 min. and the engine temp is hot and towards the end of the 10 min..I shut of the gas to the pump and let the carbs empty out and motor dies and your done.You still can go and add extra shot of oil thru the plug holes and pill motor over by hand also..then should be good.
 
I just sprayed a can of fogging oil into the carbs while running. Took the carbs off, sprayed down plug holes and into reed valves for good measure. Cranked it a few times and I'm good. Shop was smoking like Cheech and Chong when I sprayed it into carbs.
 
i have yet to fog my sled im a junky i start mine all summer atleast once a week i go around an start all five sleds at my ole mans when they are all runnin its like a symphony always good for a quik evil smile

I heard Toronto is going to have a heavy snowfall on the wekend..something like 20 inches of snow...what are you doing fogging now...lol

Don't believe the hype. 2 inches fell today and going above freezing by the weekend.
