had my track come apart on my srx the other day so time to replace
what are your thoughts of best track i am pretty aggresive trail rider and like to show off the 12 year old beast on the lake
i have other lighter sleds for trail breaking so srx mostly used on packed trails
thanks for your input

i'm running a 1 inch track with 144 studs, not sure of model track but similar to a predator track. I find it awesome in deeper snow and excellent on trails.

I love my ripsaw, works GREAT on packed trails. have one on the viper, sxr 600, vector, and 2 vmax 600's. made a vast improvement on all of them

I would check out a shotgun X from kimpex. i put one last year and put 1800 miles on it works great. lighter then most. and some of the lugs are stud like (rubber, in a tight H pattern that is stiff) has 144 prmolded holes

the shotgun is alot more durable, i tend to go through alot of tracks and i think i liked that one better than the ripsaw, ripsaw got a little more bite but none i have had lasted near as good as the kimpex shotgun i had.

I got a 1.25in Ripsaw with 192 studs on my viper. Never had a track bite as good as that one on the trail and in the deep snow. Have three of them on sleds. Don't buy a predator track, they are junk in my mind. Had two of them, one on a viper and one on a vmax. Even with studs they dont bite the trails good.

The 1.325 Cobra just may be my next track, I've ran a 136" Ripsaw for many miles and really can't complain, but may just try something different next time.Journeyman and several others on here really seem to like the cobra track!

Got 6,000 hard miles on my Kimpex with all studs, guides, lugs, windows, etc. all still in place.

For an srx,, cant beat the hacksaw for durability on the trail,,,,, I run a 1" predator,, great for on and off trail,, and a little less wind resistance for high speed runs,,,,,,, Good to run at least 144 up the middle on both or you will stress the lugs for less life of track........

I had a 1" predator for years, I loved it, this year I put a 1-1/4" Ripsaw on and I just noticed that I tore 3 outside lugs off on my last ride. I think both track grab the trail well, but the ripsaw is crappy in deep snow.

3/4" Kimpex Ultimate "Traxion" is what I ran this year and I'm happy with it. 144 goldiggers up the middle and don't look back. 2000ft radar runs, 1320ft radar runs, 500ft radar runs, trail riding, lake racing, it did it all very well.

For durability, the 1" Kimpex aggressor has been awesome but I'm not sure they're still available. I have one in my SRX that I took out of my XCR that has roughly 6k miles and it still like brand new. Heavier than most and top speed is down a bit but the lugs do not bend which really helps at the lake when the start line gets chewed up.

144 - 1.175 Gold diggers inside and out.
