Just wondered if breaking the end off the crankshaft flush with the motor is a common thing for these sleds, or what causes it, as just had it happen to me and not impressed.

Wow! I've got 13,000+ mi. on mine and haven't had any crank related issues. Could it have been hit on the clutch side? The other things I can think of are an out of balance clutch, or possible stress from using an impact when installing/removing the clutch. Seized bearing?? Let us know what you find.
Everything was excellent everything in balance dont know what caused it. Sled still ran fine after it broke but would not move. I wish I knew what happened. Another crappy thing is that it is just uder 4000 miles. Maybe a dud
