I am looking to buy a new sled, I trail ride most of the time but i ditch a few times a year. I am looking to spend about $2500

Maybe a Viper with an extension to 136" long track/ tunnel. Lots of good deals to be found. Vipers will run forever with proper maintenance.

I would look for a Venom[they are 600s]. They are often over looked, can easily be turned into a 700, relatively light, Viper look and ride...red head[SXR type engine] simplicity and reliability.

Thanks for the Replys, i think i am going to start look for a viper or Venom. Can i have some more info on a venom, Thanks.

Yamaha Venom:
-built from 2004 - 2006
-only avail as 121"
-600cc tripple, single pipe, non power valve["red head"] engine the same as SXR and Mountain Max
-high output stator
-available with reverse and electric start
-looks like a Viper
-same suspension travel as Viper
-at least 10lbs lighter then Viper, advertised as 489lbs/ER at 515lbs dry weight

Try Googling for more info

i dont understand why u guys are so afraid with vipers. they are awesome machines. you guys only here the bad about vipers but never the good....

Im into vipers for sure. I tried to get a venom for my daughter but hard to find and way too high in price. At least a grand more then most vipers. The few venoms i found around here were about 3000: you can get a 2004 viper for about 2300. Chris
