Hi guys I've been having some problems with my stock Yamaha hot grips
and I've been told that I could disconnect either left or right grip to check if either one were bad, so i think I've done that but don't want to start the sled and fry something like Cd box so I took a pic

and want to know if this is correct way to do so

Also I have a question about Limiter straps, I want my sled to do some wheelie or at least loose some ski pressure, so if I understand rigth I can loose the limiter straps but how far down can I go with out destroying some thing all the way down half?

Take an ohm meter to the grips and test them. No chance of hurting the CDI. They should both ohm out the same at around 1.6k ohms. The first pic hookup should provide a very hot grip.

Let the limter straps till the end of the nut. You can also adjust the transfer rods for full transfer as well.

You can buy a cheap multimeter at a place like Walmart or whatever you have there in Iceland. But I suppose trying it your way should work too.

Okay I found out this way that my left grip is broken thx guys :) and I did loose the Limiter straps now I just need to test ride :letitsnow
