srx Weak spark

i went riding this weekend- started my sled, got gas, moved my sled from the gas pump shut it off and it wouldn't start again. never had a problem starting before. by passed the TORS, key and kill switches. thinking stator, pick up or cdi. does anyone have a wiring diagram and or any tips???
 

Dont remember exact year or years but I remember something about the srx having an advisory or alert not exactly a recall on head light relay. short version is with head light on high bean it will run just fine, low beam will run crappy or not at all.
 
i tried that also i dont have any rubs on the wire harness by the cdi or steering loop. havent looked under the engine but dont really think thats it due to the milage. i have 1300 miles on the sled. dealer maintained
 
the dealer told me i prob burned up the stator cause i just put a heated sheild on the sled 200 miles ago. still need to check the stator before i just buy one!!!
 
with a no spark situation, you always start from the power source and work out from there, so youll need to hook up a digital volt meter to the pick up coil wires, see if you have varying voltage when pulling it over, then up to the cdi box where the wire goes in, check it, then out of cdi box,check it, then down to coil pack and check it.

Your dealer is full of crap and does not know what he is talking about. He is probably just getting ready to sell you an unneeded expensive repair. A electric facesheild for your helmet only draws a few watts of electrical power, no way it would have any negative impact on the stator. Check the wiring you installed for shorts. The best way to wire any accesories is to put an in line fuse to protect the electrical system.
 
there is a very weak spark. not no spark.

i checked the oms on the charge coil and it was only 354. spec is 463 the pick up and 2nd charge coil are with in spec. when i was cranking with no load i was only getting about 25 vac at the coils!! removed stator to check for burns or bad wiring. every things looks OK except some cracks in the resin where the wires are soldered on. just comet i believe!!
