Does anybody know if I switch to a peak head on the viper, is the head o-ringed or do i still need the head gasket. Wondering because the added volume of the gasket will no longer be there if it's o-ringed.

jeff, if the peak head is designed to be o-ringed, it will have the dome machined w/.95cc more volume, to make up for the stock gasket that isn't there anymore. the dome will have an approx .035" step cut (instead of .005" approx stock) and most likely measure around 25cc un-installed and 22cc installed. hope this helps.

If you are actually referring to the way the Peak Head attaches to the jugs, YES you will be using a head gasket. I know as I have one on my motor(Opti-cool from Bender). The domes themselves have O-rings that they are kept inside the head for sealing. Hope this helps.
