I am looking at possibly fixing a crank I have for my SRX that needs a new rod and bearing put on and if it's at all possible I'd like to find a reputable machine shop here in New Brunswick that can do it.It's not that I don't trust any other shops because I know there are plenty of them more than capable but it's just for ease of shipping within the province.
As many of you guys know the 98 cranks are welded so I need a shop that can deal with this too.

you're looking at some big bucks. Its $1100+ for all the bearings on the crank (from port yamaha). A new yamaha OEM crank is about the same price.

yamaha had set up crank repair places that do this work on a exchange it cost me last year 375.00 plus shipping for a new rebuild
