Wellfor the first time in years I am taking the time now to get my sleds ready for next season. Every year in the past, I summerized the sleds and went onto other projects getting ready for summer. Not this year, I won't even take the covers off the motorcycles until the sleds are ready. I have 4 sleds to work on: two 2000 SRXs, an 03 RX-1 and my 94 Vmax4. After I get them done I am going to get the trailer ready. No more last minute rushing!!

I may work on my SRX a little this summer..if the money is there..otherwise will park it for a year.Spent to much for the last season with both sleds and the money I have left is needed to pay regular bills.Besides if gas is going to get to about $1.50 a liter here for regular by summer and more by winter start..won't be able to afford to put premium fuel in the SRX at like $1.75 a liter or more.Everything else is going up due to the fuel costs rising,so simply life will be tougher and riding sleds next winter may just be a thing of the past.I love sledding, but not to the point where it is draining me to a point I can't pay other bills like my heating bills and property tax bills..etc.All good things come to an end eventually. The future of this sport don't look good..especially for any new comers...

I need a new track and have to replace all bearings(which I have). Will see how it goes byOctober then.I am spending to much money now preparing for a Flood here(boat/motor..etc)..not a good year for me I gather.
