I finally got my head gasket for my daughters viper. When i first took it apart it was nice and wet from fogging oil, Had to take center jug off for broken exhaust stud. The head has been off for 3 weeks now and it looks like its dried out from looking through exhaust and reed ports. Can i just spray it down with fogging oil again from the reed ports and exhaust ports? I wont be able to fire it up for a while so doing it while running is not an option. I dont see why this would be a problem as long as i dont go overboard. Any thoughts? chris

That shouldn't hurt anything, chris. i would say the more the better to keep the rust away if you're not gonna start it till next winter. all that oil will wash away as soon as you get it running anyway. spray away! Also, give Mr. Heat Miser a little kick for me, I need to get some work done!

Thanks brad, thats what i was thinking. Yea i know the weather sucks for sure. Cold and rain means no work for you and toooooo much for me. LOL!! Chris
