Ive been trolling around on the SNO TEK website and came across the shock brackets for the SX and the like. Would these be relatively easy to adapt to a viper to change the bracket to the SX style so I can install floats? Has anyone used these before? Let me know, Im prospecting for my loooong summer projects...

yes, and no,
I have used sx brackets on my viper, with srx ohlins, the bulkhead is not strong enough on one side and my bulhead cracked around the lower bolt.
If you do this, I think your going to find most floats to be too long for that bolt location. They really need to be about level with stock mount hole or higher for some cat ones.

I was thinking going with phazer floats, those are a hair shorter IIRC. Thre just doesn't seem to be very many options out there bracket wise for floats. I definitely don't want to wind up with a cracked bulkhead. Would some direct bolt in ohlins be a better option? Or even some off a viper s?
