Are there any advantages or disadvantages to a fully clipped track or a track clipped every 3 drive holes? Looking at picking up a Camoplast Energy track with 1" lugs for my 1997 SX 700, but it's clipped every 3 drives. Never had one like this before.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Advantages....much less weight.....ie-probably @ 32 lbs right.
Disadvantages....not your friend in marginal snow.
Have you gotten the track yet?

Not yet. Was going to pick it up tomorrow.
Also if you want to have extrovert drovers you have to have a fully clipped track.

I have a new track fully clipped and my ripsaw clipped every third. I have noticed no difference in hyfax wear. No snow they will wear reguardless. Big advantage i see is that they are a bit cheaper. Been looking for a track for my daughters viper and that energy is a option also. Chris
