Have a 97 Vmax SX 700. Question on the suspension. Replacing the track and looking at the skid. The right rail has this little helper-bogie wheel towards the front curve of the rail. Don't see one on the other side.
Checking the specs and parts for the suspension with Yamaha parts finder and it doesn't show this little bogie at all.
Anyone that has a similar sled, can you tell me if they are there? If so, then I have to figure out how the heck to get one if Yamaha doesn't show it.

That is a hyfax saver wheel and my guess is the other one fell off. It is a aftermarket add on.
They are not there from the factory. I believe they came as an add-on kit called the marginal snow wheel kit, or somthing like that. It was to help with hyfax wear. They came in a set of 2, one for each side, so somewhere along the line that skid lost one off the other side. You could just take the one you still have off and you'll be fine.
