Yes I rasied needles until I had a slight burble at mid range. Noticable increase in power in mid and top range but I also put the Opticool gasket in.
Not sure on mileage, as it is a Yamaha I prefer not to know....
Ran it late season in VERY marginal snow and the girlfriend got it so hot the brakes quit (overheated caliper as it is near exhaust) and it lived! LOL!
At least now she knows to run through the soft snow every once in a while.
