Maybe Yamaha does care about what we want.

All you 2 strokers take this survey. Maybe we can convince big blue to bring back a 2 stroke(I know, wishful thinking). Or at least lighten things up. They seem so caught up in proving their EPS. Problem I have is: What good is EPS when your trying to get un-stuck.

Agreed, decided to buy back a Viper when I got mired on Superbowl Sunday! Kinda nice to be able to move a Yamaha again, and you know those Viper engines-SWEET!!! :2strokes:

Took it. Seems like they wanted to know what you thought of the Apex and EPS, not really what you would want in a new sled. They seem to have some serious tunnel vision if that survey is any indicator.

i felt the same way after i took it. to many narrow minded answer choices about the apex and EPS, and not enough about what the everage consumer wants to see in a yamaha sled. just my .02 worth

The average consumer wanted a Doo. LOL

Took the survey also... really hope a 2-stroke comes out but i don't think thats the direction they were going with it.

i just added plenty of my opinions in the other boxes

X2. every time the weight thing came up i clicked on the worst or second worst box and every time the other box was available I gave a speel about wanting a HPDI 2 stroke upgrade for my 2001 SRX 700.

yes, wasn't questioning whether the consumer wanted a two stroke or not
Yamaha will never make 2 stroke sleds again. Emissions, warranty, etc. 4 strokes are where every manu is headed in the long run, i predict. Doo also. Sorry for the dire 2 stroke picture but there's plenty of evidence to show the 2 stroke's day are numbered. Now, the flip side is there are ways to lighten up 4 strokes. That is something Yamaha should further explore IMHO.
:dunno:
