yes, they were basicly a exciter 440 in a newer sleeker chassis. bulletproof!

They are regarded as a good sled. Nice looking. The greatest value of it may be as a classic or collector sled. Just as a rider -not so much. Remember, it is a 30 year old sled, the handling, ride and performance will be far from a modern sled. Fine for having fun with and for short, area rides. If you ride with most people on newer sleds, you may have a real chore keeping up. And some parts are, or will be becoming unavailable new and only available used.
Vintage and collectible sleds are a very popular thing now and if the sled is in good shape or can be put in good shape without much cost, it will have some value as such. Not quite old enough to be of great interest yet, but as time goes on it will be.
