What's your guy's opinion on reed valves? Are they worth the money for basically a stock sled? Do you have to re-jet? Any stories good or bad? Thanks again.

sorry to hijack your thread. I have porting, pipes on my machine, and wondered what advantage or difference there would be, and what type of reeds to be looking at. thanks

Hey Maxco. Plenty of info on here about different reeds. I can say from personal experience that I've got v force 3's on mine.Im guessing they've got 3,000 on em'. Edges are curled. Going to stock before winter. My sled is stock. I probably wont buy another set. you'll see some benefit though from what I've read. mixed opinions though.

I put some v force 2's on my viper after i piped it. Over the stock ones i can tell you that there was a big difference on my sled with the throttle response.
