I realize that any answer here is probably just a guess, but I understand that Toyota, GM and Suzuki are having a tough time getting product to the states.
At work today, we placed an order for a somewhat special bearing from Japan, and were told to expect the delivery to be in 16 weeks, not the normal 4. The bearing could be air freighted, so I'm not too sure what is going on here. We were also told that we could not pay an up charge to speed up the delivery.
I am concerned about selling my current sled and then not having my 2012 show up in time for the season, so I may be forced to hold on to it and make sure that the 2012 shows up, and then take a beating on the trade.
For that matter, does anyone know what I would loose if I cancel my order, waiting for happier times? I'm guessing my $500.00 deposit.
I'm probbaly thinking about this too much, but the reality is, or should be that the sled could be shipped in Sept., 3 months away, give or take.
Any thoughts? Anyone work for a Yami dealer that can provide some answers??
Thanks,
