HAUCK LAUNCH WEIGHTS question?

just picked up some adjustable primary LAUNCH weights, with screws etc, does anyone have any experience with this? what would be a good starting point on my stock 99 srx 700? i couldn't pass up on the deal for $60, i'm running 8bu 20 now and find them better then stock, i'm looking for trail aggressive and 660 drag etc, thanks

I ran the Hauck "T" adjustable weights in snow drags many years ago. It may be a starting point for you but probably would not work well with studs or on pavement and will need"tweaking" for your application.

Heres what I used.

Bare T weight...46.5 grams
screw in tip........4.8
screw in centre...3.2
-----------------------------
Total.................54.5 grams

Secondary Helix....... Dalton 53/47
Secondary Spring..... Yamaha Green 60 wrap

Primary Spring.......Yamaha: Yellow/Green/Yellow

Gearing.......21/40 = 1.90:1

stock 9 tooth drivers

Worked for Me:

i run them in my 99 srx works great 55.5 grains heavy on the tips i run with hauck red spring j helix with silver spring very aggressive hauck is very helpfull if you call them as well

I have Haucks #4 kit and it works great. I`ve heard bad things about Benders kits, but Hauck is on point when it comes to clutching these SRXs.

Launch Weights. HAUCK

the weights actually are the hauck launch weights , i saw them on their site for $250 plus tax and shipping? wow not cheap, i guess 60 bucks was a good deal, each weight has two sections, anyone using them?
