I've looked at a few prior posts but I wanted to take an informal pole on which clutch alignment tool works well. I'm between the Mountain Performance alignment tool and the sled pro alignment tool. I'm not sure if the sled pro is still even available.
I was going to use the SRX specs on my viper since I was installing a dog bone styled torque limiter for an SRX on my viper. In this case is the center to center dimension the same as the viper? So only the offset is different?
Is the sled pro alignment tool price worth it compared to the Mountain Performance alignment tool. Or would anyone suggest a totally different tool?

I dind't care for my sledpro tool. it's supposed to set the offset and center to center at the same time. the plus is it is easy to use. the negative (at least for me) the top pin hit my chassis so either had to notch the frame lip or not use the top pin, and I had a hot fixed sheave on the primary when set by the sledpro. got one from ulmer racing and have had good luck with it. plenty of others have had good luck with the sledpro which is why i bought it. it just didn't work out for me i guess
on another note you can do it with nothing more than a straight edge and a rule but the tool does make it easier
