Hello, I am new to this site but I have owned yamahas all my life and that is all I will ever own.

I recently purchased some bender triple pipes for my viper mountain and I have looked through the site for jetting and clutching specs for the sled but I am having trouble finding any specs.

So I am asking myself for some jetting specs for my sled my elevation is 0-2000ft i live in North Dakota so the temptures are all over the place I would say between -10 F and 25 F would be the tempatures I would most likely ride in.

Also, I am wondering what clutch kit to buy that would work the best with the pipes I was thinking about a bender clutch kit but I would like your thoughts on it.

Also, I am wondering what else needs to be done to the sled to keep up with the new power of the sled I mean does the head need to be modified and do I need that opticool gasket I noticed that those things are recommened by bender so depending on what you guys thing I will probably have all that stuff done. but other than the stuff listed above what else should be done to prevent burning my sled down?

This is the first time I have ever piped a sled before so any help and advise that you could give me is very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

X2 on the opticool head gasket.

One thing you will need is a rear heat exchanger put on to help cool the sled down if you dont have one already. My viper has one from a srx. With the head mod it will even out the compression in all three cylinders so you can run all the same jets. I know the main jets are 165 and believe the pilots are 57.5. For the clutch kit i got benders heel clicker kit. The best thing you can do is call bender up and see what u need for your sled. They will give u all the specs for clutching, jetting, air box mod, and so on.
hope this helps you out.
