Hey Guys,
Looking for input on this issue and if anyone has run into anything similar. It is a 2000 GP 1200 and last summer it would run fine and then when your are going full throttle all of a sudden the power would drop and would be going only 30 mph vs. 55 mph when running wide open, then after a few seconds it would pick up the RPM's again. So on this model there was problems with the catalytic converter, so fixed that issue with a kit that was much cheaper. This worked and then beginning of this summer it started doing the same things. The dealer said it could be the CDI box or something else but can't remember what he said. Any input?

i know my buddies would do that if he beached it and it sucked up sand. so he told me anyway

check the fuel pump and filter if there is one.Is there a air leak somewhere..what color are the plugs after a good run with it??
fuel filter is my guess. that is usually the problem on the ones we have. shot of seafoam would not hurt either.
