I am trying to figure out how to align the clutches on my 73 Yam GP433B. All I can find is 270mm center to center and 6mm offset. I assume this is 270mm from center of primary to center of secondary? This sled has two shafts on the chaincase top end. One for the secondary clutch and one for the top chain sprocket. Also, where do you measure the 6mm offset from? Been scratching my head for a week trying to find an answer. Don't want to eat belts. Thanks! :dunno:

take a straight edge or square stock and put it behind the primary and make sure it is long enough to reach the secondary and measure from the back side of the secondary 6mm that will be your offset do it on the motor side and the seat side to make sure your motor is sqauare
