I have been thinking i want to get a newer sled and decided i want a mountain sled. But with all of yamaha's newer sled being 4-stroke i don't know if i should stay true to the blue or get a 2-stroke from another manufacturer. i will still keep my current sled as a trail sled but don't know what to do about getting a newer mountain sled. feel free to give opinions pros/cons what have you.

i have been debating this as well. what i decided was to hold off one more season and test as many different sleds as i can this season and make a choice based off the results. i dont want to buy a new sled and hate it 2 rides into the season. so i figure this way im playing it safe. my .02

I know that i've never been one much for the 4 stroke but a guy i work with bought one last year and he swears by it

ya imy buddy just bought a 2010 nytro and i am going to take her for a ride this season. but aside from just the 2-stroke 4-stroke problem i just think that other man. sleds are just better looking.
One thing is for certain, you will never change the ways of Yamaha if you keep buying what they are making.

I will tell you; you wont be dissapointed in the engine. The rest of the sled around it now im not sure how the mountain sleds are as I dont ride them. Every yami 4 poke ive been on always leaves me happy with how it runs.

ya i have ridden a phazer but it does not have the snappiness i am used to with the older tripple. but i am looking foward to riding the nytro. No need to hide anyone, if i get another sled i will let you take it for a spin j/k
