i dont have any pictures, but i have built a couple different styles. i no longer use either of two variations, but i still have most the parts. too bad your so far away, i could cut you a deal.
first thing you need to do is get you some quick disconnects. i got mine from wahl bros racing. there are other options, but for the money these are the quickest and easiest.
the first one i built used an ice chest, some 1" hose, and either a ciculation pump or a bilge pump. i will have to look at my remnants and clarify for you. with the quick connects attached to the hoses and the coolant lines on the sled, simply cycle the water through. you could think about ucing ice blocks but too rapid of a cool may be a bad thing. this is the bargain basement cool down setup.
the next one i did, i used a radiator from an import truck, mounted it to your basic air filled tired hand truck. i had to neck down radiator hose fittings to a 1" hose. luckily i had a buddy in that line of work so it was a freeby. on the radiator i attached an electric fan. around $75 from your schucks or autozone types. in line on the hoses to the quick disconnects i added an on demand water pump consistent with your camp trailers. finally, some wiring and an rv battery in a box sat on the bottom of the hand truck, two switches, one for the fan the other for the pump.
theory was simple, fire the pump for flow, fire the fan to cool. i have all these parts still laying around if you need clarification.
another item to look at is your gas powered leaf blower. works wonders for cooling the clutches.

Yeah it's going too be your first option as there are not many grass drags around here this is the only one that I know of, so it doesn't have to be the best. I think ten bags of ice should get me through the day if running a few classes

i used an Atwood A-500 pump on that one. it was under $15 at the time. drilled the ice chest low(where the drain outlet was) and sealed the penetration with silicone prior to plumbing. this is important as there is foam between the plastic layers and the water will leak between.
this was the outlet for the flow. on the return line i simply drilled a hole in the lid of the ice chest. this is optional, but you can keep the lid closed tight and makes the ice last longer.
then you just need some hose and the quick connects and some misc plumbing pieces to attach it all together. fittings will alter between 1" and 3/4". you will have to neck up or down as needed.
the srx uses a 1" coolant line and wahl had the parts to adapt.
block ice kept in a seperate cooler lasts way longer than cubed. the cooler i used was about 2'l x 12"w x 12" deep, apprx.

needasrx, what did you end up doing. any pics, and where did you tie in your couplers. getting ready to build on myself, looking for some ideas too
I just took off my hoses from the rear heat exchanger under the plastic foot rest added longer ones and hydrolic quick couplers, and it worked great as for the cool down cart I bought a 500gph bilge pump from a boating store screwed it down into a 40L cooler took out the drain and shoved a 1inchX 6ft hose through and sealed it with sealant, it worked great
I'll get better pics 2morrow for you
