sorry to hear that Richard...will you at least keep the valve repair end of it going.I still have to send you my 3 valves that we talked about last season...no rush I guess. You'll have to pm me your address again and I will send them in the mail one day.Love the way you did my other 3 valves...

Doug

Sorry to hear that, and it's even harder to hear you have to sell all your toys, my life would be pretty much over then lol wishin you a speedy recovery

I wouldn't sell the toys yet!! I've got a cousin who had a similar accident 5 or 6 years ago, he'll be on disability for the rest of his life and he limps and uses a cane. He put on 1000 miles last year... Gotta have something that keeps you interested in life.

thanks guys i am trying to look on the bright side ..i really dont want to sell the sled but the banshee i dont ride and i will have a hard time starting it so no point in keeping it so its for sale if anyone is interested it has tons of aftermarket parts and i have title in hand ..didnt want you guys to think i jumped ship on yous ..justgot to get things going again and get with mr sled and get my membership paid back up ...thanks guys looking forward to getting my life back together

Thanks for the great job on the valves once again Rich, Its a good thing it was your ankle and not your hands. We need you around here bud! Who else would fix all our valves! lol . I sent the other 2 out in the mail a couple days ago. Let me know what I owes ya and ill clear it up right away Thanks again Rich Best of luck to ya

Sorry to here about that too...
The SRX valves you did for me worked great, and looked great too, I can vouch for that certainly. I know when things go bad, its easy to rush to ideas, but I know I've regreted a few! I guess I could understand selling the Banshee, but hey, Ive always been a 250R guy....
Get well man!

Terrible news, glad you're back and hope you recover to be able to enjoy your hobbies. Doctors tend to be pessimists (due to lawsuits), so hopefully your recovery goes better than what they're telling you. I know when I badly broke my ankle they said I wouldn't be able to do a lot of things, but the only thing I've really had to give up is downhill skiing.

well i thought i was doing pretty good ...but we got the first snow the other day just a inch or 2 and hard wind drifted it up and walked in the snow to the car and wow little cold on the ankle and it travels straight to the bone and that metal plate just soaks the cold up and makes it hurt bad ...i see now its gonna be hard times i havent even got the sled home to clean carbs and get it ready and honestly if thats how its gonna be i hate to say it but time to sell the sleds ....very sad day

give it time, as hard as it is. I sold my mtn bike a while back after knee surgery. I wasnt going to be able to ride again, I was sure of it. I bought another one about 6 years later and still love it. wish I hadnt sold the other one though, had to downgrade when I bought the new one, diddnt have the cash at the time to get one like I had before. good luck!!
