Can anyone tell me where the hose running off the bottom of the coolant reservoir runs to?

hose goes to the water pump,everything loops around to the exchangers and back to the reservoir...

Can i get at without pulling the motor? I just put it back in and overlooked this...
Probably should have defined this better. Its the overflow reservoir off the side of the oil tank

wouldn't that line go to the nipple on the filler neck of the coolant line where the rad cap goes on.It would be an overflow or allows coolant enter the system if coolant runs low.Same thing you would find in a car...

Right on, I think you hit the nail on the head...only thing that throws a curveball is there is a bleed off hose about 6 inches long coming off that nipple on the main reservoir. Im thinking that he must have of abandoned the overflow res and just had that bleed off dangling....

the line from the bottom, of coolant bottle should connect to a nipple on #4 in the diagram(filler neck)

maybe the coolant resovoir has a crack in it or a leak.Maybe he just allowed the drain hose to dangle out and down.Make sure you get this fixed up.When the coolant in the system gets hot,expansion takes place and the coolant resovoir will take the over flow.Also when coolant gets low,the sydtem will suck coolant from that resovoir.Look into it..glad to help...
