Has any one shortened a set of 338 gpx pipes ? Is the outside covering just a skin?There is 2 layers . Any help would be appreciated

i would leave them stock it will really not do anything for HP but it will raise the peak rpm a little which is a waist on a stock motor or even a slightly ported motor
