Do 780 Kits Need Big Carbs

purchased a 780 kit from a member said was ported and set up by mr viper havent had alot of time to research this setup but wondering if stock carbs are going to make it perform ok
 

PM mrviper he'll let you know everything that is needed to go with that setup, so it can be so damn fast even AC guys will wish there sleds were that DAMN fast!
 
Ran stockers in mine for years. Bump the pilots up a bit, raise the needles to four with both washers over and about 152.5 mains. I actually had a set off a mach that I was going to use at one point and then decided it ran so well with the stockers that I didn't want to hassle with it.
 
You would definately gain more with bigger carbs, I have his ported motor and seen gains with bored carbs.More fuel+more air= more power.
