HI Guys,
I've been toying with replacing my track and had a few questions as I have never replaced or purchased an aftermarket track. I understand I am looking for a 121 x 15 x 1" track 2.52 pitch. What are the recommended tracks in that category?
What is the opinion on ice attack lug studded tracks? All the benefits of studs without the weight or pull through?
Is there any benefit to single ply over 2 ply tracks? How do they hold up when studded?
What are the track clips for and does the srx require tracks to be clipped at every window?
Concerning studs is the traction worth the extra weight on the track? I'm a trail rider but I do encounter icy hills every so often, although none of my non studded friends have ever had an issue getting up the same iced hills.
What brands are the most durable? The klimpex avenger looks like an interesting design. I've heard lots about the hack and ripsaw tracks.
Any other info I should keep my eye out for?
Thanks in advance!!

LIFE MEMBER ONLY ONCE!!!
I just ordered a Kimpex Traxtion track myself and it is pre punched for 144 studs.Studs come in handy in icy conditions for sure. Was doing like 70 mph on the River once and hit an icy patch..my sled went into the 3 o'çlock position and I almost had a heart attack..but ened up straightening out before I went into a roll..learned from that and all it takes is one time.I had a Predator track before ,but it wasn't clip every window and not opened every window.I will only go with all open windows and cliped every window no for less friction on the hyfax.
