Hey guys last winter my secondary clutch was slipping i adjusted my spring to the recommended settings and it still slipped some one mentioned something about three 8mm bolts on the back with bad bushings? i pulled it off and pulled them out and they look like they are on there for nothing any ideas? would like to get a jump on the snow thanks!

The three 8mm bolts adjust the sheave spacing for belt wear. You add shims/washers to the bolts. (The more you add the closer the sheaves get)
It is mainly for drive belt height adjustment.

bolts and washers set your belt ride height little buttons or slides ride on helix bushinge are in helix and inner cover all parts have to be in good tight shape and spring timed right for everything to work as it should got any sled mech friends? they are big help when your not hip if you were closer id help ya no prob

the spring is brand new has a hauck type x helix and a red spring i dont recall the wrap off hand but you think i should replace the 3 bolts and washers? got a new belt as well
