even if leaves are falling like here...weather is supposed to pu again and be nice to end of month.Usually no snow here until past Halloween anyways...being we are in a drought situation since end of June..we might not see any moisture here till next Spring..

Several heavy frost here in northern Michigan, one night recently it was down in the 20's brrr! John Dee says the higher elevations in the western up could see snow thursday night I believe, its coming!

IN REED CITY MI ON WED IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 33 FOR A LOW. THURSDAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 28 FOR A LOW. BRING ON THE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :letitsnow :winterrul :winterrul

It's cooling off in the desert too, only 102* out today. :D Back home, high of 81*. I'm not buying into it when all the locals say the mountains get pounded with snow. I don't think they know what snow is.

Come on guys, give me a few more weeks without frost to finish out all this corn we planted in June! Been getting snowmobiles on the mind more and more though.

I still have 3 or 4 tracks to change. I wreaked every thing last yr. Two ripped out one chassis change and a speed track to install

Believe it or not, I saw snow yesterday morning in the eastern U.P. Temps were in the mid forties, lightly raining (lake effect rain) and then there was about a minute or so where there were true flakes coming down.

You know it's shocking that the more I read on this site, the more I realize how popular a destination the UP really is for snowmobilers. I grew up in Munising and always thought the riders that came through represented a much smaller percentage of the community than they appear to on here. I'll be back Dec 2012/Jan 2013 to get some riding in there and re-mark my turf.
