I recently watched the proaction suspension tuning video posted on this site and I found it pretty helpful when understanding how the overall suspension works. Now onto the tuning part…the video references consulting the “proaction tuning manual” several times throughout the various segments. Does anyone have a copy of this manual? I did an online search with no luck. If anyone has one, they should scan it in so it can be archived on this site. The video is only half the equation without the tuning manual when it comes to setting these skids up correctly. The manual contains valuable measurements, tuning specs, and starting points dependent on rider weight, riding style, and other variables, etc.,etc. Let me know if you have a manual or a link to one.

Also, from experience does anyone know if both rear shocks on a 2002 Yamaha Viper can be adjusted with the skid in the sled, or does the skid have to be removed for clearance? I plan to pick up a shock wrench later this week…does anyone know what size I need? Thanks.

When the shocks are in the skid i found there is no room for the wrench. A long flathead screwdriver and a rubber mallet work great. The screwdriver fits in the retaing ring grooves and just give it a tap to loosen then adjust. The betheviper post is way better than the tunning manuaual hands down!
